How Do You Plan a Pool Near Lake Norman?
We plan pools for homes in Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville, Mooresville, Denver, Concord and the Lake Norman area. Your county and town decide what a pool permit needs, and many HOAs approve the plan first.
- Call 811 first. North Carolina law requires a free NC 811 request before anyone digs.
- Clear the path. For the pool installation, the pool arrives in one piece, often by crane.
Cornelius Pool Questions
Do you build inground pools in Cornelius, NC?
Yes. We sell Sun Pools fiberglass inground pools from our Cornelius showroom, and our install crew puts them in. Fiberglass is our main line, and we also offer semi in-ground, above ground and plunge pools for yards that suit them.
How much does an inground pool cost in Cornelius?
The cost of an inground pool depends on the model, how easy your yard is to reach, how flat it is, the soil and any rock, how far the pool sits from power and water, permits, fencing, the patio and extras. We talk through your yard first, then quote it for free, and pool financing is offered.
Do I need a permit for a pool in Cornelius or around Lake Norman?
Most North Carolina counties and towns need a permit for a pool, and many HOAs need to approve it first. In Cornelius, Davidson and Huntersville, ask Mecklenburg County and your town what they require. Homes in Mooresville or Denver follow Iredell County or Lincoln County rules.
Can a fiberglass pool go on a sloped Lake Norman lot?
Each sloped lot is different, so we talk through yours at the free consultation before we quote. How much leveling it needs and how the pool gets in depend on the lot. A semi in-ground pool sits partly above the ground and can suit a steep yard.
Which towns does the Cornelius showroom serve?
We plan pools for homes in Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville, Mooresville, Denver, Concord and the Lake Norman area. Our Pineville showroom serves Charlotte and the towns south of it.
Is the pool consultation free?
Yes. The consultation and the quote are both free. Call (704) 666-8900, send the form below, or book a consultation.
What warranty comes with a pool in Cornelius?
A pool warranty comes in three parts: one from the pool maker, one from each equipment maker and one for the install work. Ask for the written terms of each part with your quote, and read our pool warranty guide before you sign.
