What to Expect During Installation

Plan permits and utility locating
Before work begins, confirm the required local permits and any HOA approvals. Read our guide to pool permits in North Carolina for more details. The person or contractor performing excavation should contact NC 811 at least three full working days before digging and confirm the required utility responses and markings before starting.
Prepare the site
The installation area is cleared, the pool location is marked, and the ground is excavated according to the installation plan.
Place the pool
The completed fiberglass shell is delivered and lowered into position, with levels checked throughout placement.
Connect and backfill
The installation team connects and tests the plumbing, adds backfill around the shell, and fills the pool as part of the installation process.
Finish the backyard
The planned pool surround is completed, the construction area is cleaned, and appropriate safety barriers are installed.
