What to Expect During Installation
Your installation process depends on the level of support you choose, from arranging installation yourself to having Epic help coordinate the project. Explore our pool kit and professional installation options to find the right fit for your needs. For a look at the main stages, see the Sun Pools installation process.
Plan permits and utility locating
Before work begins, confirm the required local permits and any HOA approvals. Read our guide to pool permits in North Carolina for more details. The person or contractor performing excavation should contact NC 811 at least three full working days before digging and confirm the required utility responses and markings before starting.

The installation area is cleared, the pool location is marked, and the ground is excavated according to the installation plan.
Place the pool
The completed fiberglass shell is delivered and lowered into position, with levels checked throughout placement.
Connect and backfill
The installation team connects and tests the plumbing, adds backfill around the shell, and fills the pool as part of the installation process.
